MIP/Alcohol Awareness Course

Alcohol Education Program for Minors:

The Alcohol Education Program for Minors (AEPM) is offered by the Alcohol and Drug Compliance Services Office at Texas State University. AEPM is a state certified course regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. Prospective students are to register online or come to the the Alcohol and Drug Compliance Services Office at the LBJ Student Center Room 5-8.1, at least 24-hours prior to the preferred class date for enrollment purposes.

The class is filled on first-come-first-serve basis with a maximum capacity of 25 participants and a minimum enrollment of 3. Participants are strongly urged to contact the Alcohol and Drug Compliance Services Office as soon as they are made aware of the requirements. Classes fill quickly and once capacity is reached, participants must enroll in the next regularly scheduled class.

The MIP/Alcohol Awareness class involves an exit interview, which is scheduled with prospective students at the time of enrollment. The scheduled exit interview is noted on the participant’s registration form.

You must pay $60 to sign up for AEPM. To register for the next class, you can pay via money order or with a credit card through our ADCS Payments website. Money orders can either be paid in person or mailed to the ADCS Office. Money orders are payable to Alcohol and Drug Compliance Services and are mailed to:
